→ How are decisions made in the community?

•  Holacracy Governance Meetings coupled with the PDP (proposal Development Process) and Value Oriented Consensus
  
  “Holacracy''' is a method of decentralized management and organizational Corporate governance, in which authority and decision-making are distributed throughout a holarchy of self-organizing teams rather than being vested in a management hierarchy 

→ What are the community’s decision-making bodies?

•  Decisions are made within the circles. It is a fractal like pattern so each circle looks similar, but has a unique function. This is superior to conventional hierarchies in that those in the know have the power and autonomy to make decisions without those without knowledge or perhaps with special interests getting in the way and slowing down decision making. This is beneficial in today's fast paced markets because, for example, a maker community that can not only rapid prototype, but also has the means of manufacturing can create and market and sell solutions all within the same day they are conceptualized, while this can take months or years using conventional models.  

→ How is decision-making power distributed or concentrated within the community?

• Decision power is localized to those working on the solutions and their stakeholders, so long as decisions are in alignment the organizations purpose and values.  

→ What gives the decision-makers their authority?

•  The Bylaws/Constitution puts the powers into the circles and sub-circles are created which further distribute the power to the places it is needed.  

→ How are conflicts handled within the community?

• Solutionary culture and Non Violent Communication (NVC)
• Coaching
• Community circles
• Conflict resolution - first peer to peer, if unsuccessful then with facilitation, mediation or coaching.
